About Resolution Revolution

The Mic Is On.

Resolution Revolution was born out of a desire to confront the apathy, neglect, disregard, and ignorance surrounding the history and contributions of Black people to this thing called America.

This is not just a clothing brand.

It is a statement.
A reminder.
A challenge.

We live in a time when silence is often easier than truth, and distraction often replaces understanding. Resolution Revolution exists to push back against that — through message-driven apparel, historical awareness, cultural memory, and honest engagement.

The materials, videos, lectures, and recommendations shared here are offered free of charge because access to knowledge should not be restricted by a paywall.

This is about context.
This is about perspective.
This is about saying something that matters.

From the Founder

Landton D. Malone
Founder, Resolution Revolution

My perspective was not formed overnight.

Professionally, I spent over 27 years working as a road manager for Grammy-winning jazz trumpeter Wallace Roney, coordinating tours, concerts, and media appearances across the world, building relationships with venues, promoters, and artists, and navigating the business and cultural realities of the music industry.

That experience exposed me to the global reach of Black music—and at the same time, the limited understanding of the history and struggles that gave birth to it.

My deeper political and historical awakening began after reading The Autobiography of Malcolm X. From that moment, I immersed myself in the work of thinkers and freedom fighters such as Dr. John Henrik Clarke, Amos Wilson, Fannie Lou Hamer, Fred Hampton, Martin Luther King Jr., Patrice Lumumba, and many others who challenged power, exposed truth, and demanded that we see ourselves clearly.

That journey reshaped how I saw the world—and more importantly, how I saw responsibility.

Consciousness & Responsibility

What I came to understand is simple:

Awareness without action is meaningless.
Knowledge without application is wasted.

We cannot afford the luxury of disengagement, especially when the forces that shape our lives are neither neutral nor passive.

Resolution Revolution is rooted in that understanding.

Not noise for noise’s sake.
Not anger without direction.
Not commerce without conscience.

This is about engagement.
This is about ownership of perspective.
This is about refusing to remain silent in the face of truth.

The Mission

To educate.
To challenge.
To engage.
To amplify truth.

Wear the message. Live the truth. Say something that matters.
